Below are resources you can use in the FHS Library as well as online. These resources will be a great starting point to begin your research. If you are not able to access the databases or need further assistance, please check with the librarian.

ON-LINE DATABASES:

ABC-CLIO: From ABC-CLIO, click on "World Geography"; select the "Countries" tab at the top. Look for your country.

EBSCO: May be accessed from the library home page. Select Student Research Center, uncheck all except Country Reports, begin searching the name of your country.

GALE: May be accessed from the library home page. Password: frisco Click on “Student Resources in Context.” Look for "Geography". Select "view all". Select the country you are researching.

CIA: The World Factbook
(Click on your country from the drop down menu.)


PRINT SOURCES: Check the following areas in nonfiction and reference for books on Latin American countries and anything related to their culture:
R 306.03, R 305.8, NF 031, 910 and 917.

For famous hispanic figures, check the biography collection in the library.
